How well do LG phones hold up in general?

I've been waiting to look at the Samsung A530 when it comes out, but the LG VX-4400 maybe a better choice since it also supports analog, which the Samsung A530 is reported not to. I have had a couple Samsung phones over the years and they have worked well for me, no problems. Just iterested in any comments about LG phones.
