Default Info very helpful

Let me say thanks, there is a lot of usefull info from everybody on this forum. .
May I ask a couple questions?

1)What is the latest version of software on the 6000?
2) Has anybody noticed that after a certain amount of time usually about 9 months or so, it seems problems arise with verizon service - more dropped calls, longer to connect calls, echo and so on... I have had verizon service for many years and have had different manufacturers of phones and it seems to happen each time.
3) I guess that VZW guy says "Can You Hear Me Now" because he uses VZW, because I know I say it as much as him (usually followed by a few choice words.
Thanks

Punia, to someone as nice as yourself, I offer the following help

Question 1 go to

http://www.vzwinfo.com/index.php

Question 2. Obviously, the problem is with the phone. Check for firmware updates. Make sure your battery is up to snuff. Make sure the openings for voice and hearing are clean. Do not take the phone for granted, make sure you are calling from an area with a good signal. Signal strength can change over time. Trees grow, homes built etc. To be honest, I have never had the problem.

Take care. If this does not help. Others in this forum, will be sure to contribute.

Thanks for the link. I have had the phone checked out and all is OK with it. It has happened with most of the phones I have had. I use my phone quite often, I average about 4000 minutes a month and usually travel the same routes everyday. I usually make a mental note regarding the reception and such when I get a new phone and I am very pleased, then I end up cursing out the phone down the road as described in original post. I don't know, guess I should just remember it is a luxury...An expensive luxury. One other note, last month I had 53 dropped calls, I am in my 10th month of my contract...

Now that I know that you use the phone so much (4,000 minutes a month), I would like to bring your attention to a little note in most manuals.
After about a year, you should bring the phone in for service.

Punia, haven't seen you here for a while, welcome back...

1.The latest version as you probably saw from Rich's very helpful link is
version 6
2.Verizon seems to be having some capacity issues but some users seem
think it's their phones, that's why Verizon is turning on 1900Mhz in some areas to relieve those capacity issues.
3.LOL...they don't show that in the commercials..
