Hi. Today I tried sending a couple of pix of F-18s to vzwpix.net. The first time I (blushing) sent them to vzwpix.com, so when they didn't show up I sent them to the right addy. But they're still not there. Are there some rather puzzled people out there wondering why someone would send them pictures of aircraft, or are they (all 4) floating out between the cell towers trying to find someplace to finally settle? Thanks.

You were correct the first time you sent the pictures. The address is your phone number at vzwpix.com. Not sure what happened the first time. Are you trying to get the pics onto your phone? Or onto the vzwpix website? (your phone number here)@vzwpix.com will get them to your phone. By the way welcome to WA!

Hi. Thanks for answering my msg and the welcome. So, I resent one of my pix to (mycell#)@vzwpix.com via my vx-6000 and do you know what happened? It came back to my vx-6000. Twice. What now?

Oh ok, I thought you were trying to get pictures onto your phone. You are trying to get pictures from your phone to the pix place website. In that case simply go to your "Gallery" (menu, 1, 2) and highlight the picture you want to send to the website, then choose "Options" and then select "Online Album". At that point it should send your picture to your online album at pix place.

If I have pictures on my computer, can I send them to mycell#@vzw.com, and use them on the VX6000 as a screen saver/background? |

Ohhhhhh. Okay! Will do. Thanks. Edited a few minutes later: It worked a charm! The pix aren't fabulous, but now I know how to do it. |

I've noticed in your pix place you can upload from XP's My Pictures and then send them to cell numbers or other computer addys. You might experiment with that. The pix may have to be pretty small to use as wallpaper, tho, again from My Gallery on your phone. Not that, now that I'm a greenhorn, I'm that knowledgable or anything.

I actually meant wallpaper for a background. Thanks for the size requirement! Karl (Lynyrd Skynyrd Fan) |

Skynfan, I really like my vx-6000 now. In the first few days I had some reservations about it because sometimes the reception wasn't very good, wavering in and out, echoing, that kind of thing. Coming from a Moto v60 with it's amazing clarity, it took getting used to the vx-6000. Now I'm quite happy and if sometimes the reception isn't crystal, well, I can live with that. It's fun setting up voice dial contacts; the computer voice is so pleasant. Taking pictures is great; I hope I don't go over my monthly limit. I have different (native) ringers for identified calls and unknown calls and the other day it was pretty funny when an alarm I'd set went off with classical (native) music, I didn't know what it was for a few moments. "Where's that music coming from?" I've downloaded one pay wallpaper tru GEN and the process was effortless, but this won't be habitual. I recently bought a data cable, but I don't know about that bitpim software; it seems pretty complicated, so I don't know if the cable will get used, at least not until I have more information, especially in setting things up. So, I'm more than happy with the vx-6000. I like it's style, much more than the vx-4500, I like it's size, a bit more substantial than the v60, and, vzwpix.com aside, it's ease of use. I think you'll be pleased with it. But if you're not, please don't blame me. I'm pretty easy to please. |

Amarillo....as in Amarillo Texas? Reason I ask, I was there this time last year, and my Verizon V60i was always on "Extended Network". If you are in Amarillo Texas, is that still the case?
