Did you guys know that depending on the PRL you have the Verizonicon banner won't show on the display, for example if you have the Local Digital Choice PLan it won't display Verizonicon in my region.

I found that out when I had updated software installed on my phone. After the update, the banner was gone. However, the PRL was ancient. The tech, to his credit, explained that the banner would reappear if he were to update the PRL. I had the option of leaving the phone as it was, except, the PRL was very old and probably very wrong. The tech indicted that the banner will appear on any plan (and PRL) that uses the extended network.

I wonder about some of these techs, when i had the local digital plan i never had a Verizonicon banner even when i updated my PRL and much less if i was roaming.
