OK, i figured out so far how to get any midi on my phone for free(verizon service)...i was wondering if any one has been sucessfull uploading an mp3/wav for a ring tone...i think im close to getting it...any ideas?

I've had my LG now for about two weeks and I'll point out the webpage I found. Though not spectacularly graphic, this page outlines exactly how to transfer a typical WAV or MP3 into a format that the LG can use. It takes a few tries, and about half the songs I'd like to get transferred don't transfer well, it does work well and is pretty easy.

Hey Guys, I didn't forget the ring tones forum. Been there and went to the eringers website. They've got lots of ringers, just none that can be downloaded to a verizon phone. I checked with their tech support and he confirmed my suspicions. I've tried to join the gowirelessnj group in Yahoo but I think the moderator must be on vacation.

I'll check again today and see if I can find any more links that might work for my new vx6000, which I'm still loving in spite of the lousy ringtones.
