I have tryed the free WAP stuff on my VX 6000 and it is not working. I checked all my numbers and everything is done right. Everytime that it tries to connect it stops and says "Network Not Responding." What could this be and how could i fix it b/c i would like to get the Free WAP. I have also tried the different homepages and nothing is working. Can someone please help me out.

which port and wap settings are you using?

I have tried using both sets of numbers and they didnt work.

WAPTUNNEL: IP 207.232.099.109 PORT 9200 or 9201
3AM Labs Gateway: IP 064.023.032.065 PORT 9203

try calling CS @ *611.

But dont tell them you are trying to use a free gateway. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

I'm thinking maybe they didnt activate it on your account.

before you call C/S, which homepage are you using?
when i was setting my new 6000 today, i would get the same message when using 3AM, port 9201, so then i tried 207.232.099.109 PORT 9201 and homepage http://tagtag.com/stash and it worked.

id did all the ip and port stuff but when i use the openwave webpage when i ever i use one of the links i get error 'text/html' is not present in the client acceptable media types set.

try changing ur homepage...

Run WAP, and then press and HOLD the 0 key until u get a menu. go to advanced (at the bottem) go to homepage (you should get a prompt, click ok) and change it to the homepage of you choice

thank you for the help about the wap thing, and i know its a dumb question but does your minutes get used on nights and weekends with wap, and anyone know how i can get free ringtones for the vx6000
