Default Changing auto alarms on VX6000

Ok here's an interesting question: The VX6000 has an alarm function. It's got the 3 alarms that you can set for times, or a set of 4-5 presets that start with 10 minutes and go up from there. What I really need is 15 minutes which it doesn't have, which is exactly how long my chicken patties need to stay on the george foreman grill. Anyone have an idea of how those numbers could be modified? I'd be forever in your virtual debt. Thanks.

Default Changing auto alarms on VX6000

I just tried to goto the alarm. But in an area with no service (down 2 sublevels of building), seems the alarm function is unavailable. I find that quite odd...
