I have read all the threads and followed the directions to download ringtones to my VX6000. However every time i send it to my phone all i ever get is that stupid message saying i have a picture waiting for me at the vzwpix.com place(which I have joined). So i called verizon to make sure my express network was set up and it is. The guy at verizon told me that the VX6000 is not set up for downloading rings other than the ones off of "get it now". So was he bs ing me and if so what am i doing wrong? I just got the phone a week ago is it possible it has newer software on it preventing me from downloading songs from email? HELP PLEASE!

Well if you're getting a message saying you have a pic waiting at the pixplace website, it sounds like your pix messaging isn't provisioned on the account. I would call VZW back and make sure that both required features are active on your line: The 1x MOU feature, and a Pix messaging feature code. Then the message should go through. There is nothing in the software preventing you from downloading through e-mail... The VZW guy was a twit. You're supposed to be able to save sounds out of pix messages and use them as ringers, that's one of the features of MMS.
