Hmm, ok Hi, i have the lgx6000 and am using the LG 1200 cable from futredial., trying to use bitpim Whenevr I have the data port set to RS232, and I plug the cable in, the Phone says "Car Kit" Is that a good sign? I got the driver software installed on my machine, and a standard modem set to the proper COM port. Problem is, now whenevr I use BITPIM to get phone data, the phone itself shuts off. Am I doing somethign wrong? I have tried this with and without a "standard modem" installed. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.. |

My LG1200 data cable and VX6000 work fine together. Never had my phone shut off while using it. If you're thinking about returning the cable, don't tell FutureDial that you're using it with a VX6000.

There is a problem with the cable if you are getting a "car kit" upon connecting the cable to the phone. |
