| On my old Motorola phones, I could hear myself in my earpiece when I talked (basically, what I spoke into the receiver would also come out of the earpiece) This was handy because I could hear what the other side was hearing, just like on a landline phone. I don't get this on my vx6000 so I wind up talking louder and louder because I don't know what I sound like on the other side (this is the reason why some old people shout all the time). Is this normal for the vx6000? Anyone else have this problem?

| nope. no reverb in the earpiece, i like it that way i dont need to hear my self in the speaker the other person does. Remember the mics are sensative so you dont need to yell into them.

| It's weird because Delta and Ceno in the Moto forum says that they can hear themselves, but everyone in the NYC area that I know say that they can't hear themselves

| Actually, Ceno just got back to me and you're not supposed to hear yourself in the speaker. Thanks for your help, though. I appreciate it. |
