Default buying new phone

I was thinking about buying the LG VX6000, but after reading a few reviews online, now i'm not so sure. I was wondering if anyone who has this model could tell me what problems you've had with it so far and if you think it is a good phone or not. I know the phone is dual band, but i'm not sure if that would be a problem for me or not - any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks!

I love my VX6000. Trust me; you will too.

CNET did a very great and objective review:

CNET Review

To address their "cons" if you go with Verizon Wireless, the lack of analog is a non-issue because their digital coverage is pretty darn good (especially in the northeast). Secondly, 20 images is plenty of room considering you can unload the phone whenever at VZWpix.com when images get stale.

I'd easily recommend the 6000, best phone Verizon has. I saw a couple of reviews, I thought it got reviewed pretty well. If you go into analog in your area, you may want to think about another model. But then I use analog in some oddball areas and I still thought it was worth the hit.
1 problem I have had is after a week, one of my 6000's quit getting a signal, just took it back and got another. It still seems to have far less problems then such models as the T720(what I left for the 6000).

So basically, go with it unless you really need the analog.

Same here... no problems with the phone. check out verizon's all-digital coverage map and if you are covered, then this phone shouldn't be a problem for you at all.

have you ever heard of extended batteries?

how you ever read the sad reviews on a t720?

can't believe you even bought two!

i never seen a entire forum dedicated to a t720 like i have with an audiovox 9500! (cdmangels)

yes, this is by far the best phone i've had next to the nokia 3390

lol. say what you want guys, but the nokia 3390 will always be a staple in the cellphone world and will always be a favorite and dear to my heart... sorta like that first love feeling.

anyways, i gave up my t720i and nokia 6610 for the vx6000 and i dont regret it yet... even though its only been 2 week. no problems whatsoever. i love it.!

heh, don't get me wrong, I wasn't knocking the 9500, good phone, but definately wasn't easy on the batteries.
Yep, extended batteries certainly do the trick. I just don't use them myself because of the leather case on my phone, I don't think it'd fit right if thicker.
Most definately I've read the reviews, unfortunately it wasn't until after I got my T720's. I was pretty happy with them until recently overall. They had some minor stuff, but too many bad reviews and other stuff finally happening, I wasn't gonna waste my time and out they went.
If there was a forum dedicated to the T720, it would be a very ugly place filled with much hate..lol.

BTW, I tried to get a 9500 instead of the 2nd T720 but Verizon said they didn't have any and weren't sure if they were getting more. Well, I needed a phone that day, liked 1 T720 so far, thus the 2nd was gotten.
