Default SENDING .MID FILES DIRECTLY VIA EMAIL

Hey guys, I just sent myself an email with an attachment of a mid file which is 20kb. i emailed it to my#@vtext.com through outlook. i recieved the message and it has the attachment in { }, now i clicked on saved message, now is this the correct way to set it as my ringtone? did the attachment get dropped as everyone is saying here? and if it is the correct way, what would i need to do next to set it as my ringtone?

Thanks

Ummmmmmm, if the midi file is there then it didn't get dropped. The easiest way to do it is to mail it to "your number@vzwpix.com"

The right soft key should give you options when you have the message open. You should be able to save it from there.

please make sure your mids are cut down mids. under about 45 seconds long. and also make sure that you are sending it to vzwpix.com not vtext.com these are completely different addresses for your phone and vtext will drop the attachment !
