This may seem like a stupid question but is there a way to just have your phone on vibrate instead of a ringtone and also for a text message is there a way to get it to ring instead of vibrate

press * key until it says "manner mode" that will put it on vibrate, if you press again it will set to "silence all".
for text message, go to menu scroll to 4.messages, scroll to 6.msg settings,scroll to 4.msgalert, scroll to 2.txt msg alert, and choose custom ring tone or low beep. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
