Default #1 speed dial for VX6000
i just got my vx6000 for 150.00 after $75.00 off from 2 year contract(which means 150.00 after tax, and i'm getting another $50 off from rebate

anyway...

is there any way to use speed dial #1 other then *68??

Menu, 4, 6, 8 then enter the speed dial number and press ok.

Well you can set it to any speed dial you want, except for #1, I wonder why?

funny, i just went through the menu like ALEX said and was able to edit the #.

The #1 key programmed default for the voice mail . However, you can edit that location for other number but the #1 key location can't be added to your contacts list.
