How do you get the LG VX6000 phone to remind you of a voice message that you have not listened to. I set the voice mail alert to "loud beeps", sent myself a voice message, received the initial notification, did not listen to it, did not get further reminders.

Because low beeps jsut beeps once. You need to set it to something that gas remind on it...such as, for example, Vibrate and remind.

I still do not see a message remind feature. I have tried for message settings, message alerts, voice mail alert the choices are SILENT, VIBRATE ONCE. VIBRATE AND SOUND, CUSTOM RING TONES (no remind feature here) , LOW BEEP ONCE, LOW BEEPS, LOUD BEEP ONCE, LOUD BEEPS. Ther is no remind feature as far as I can see. I even tried turning the 2 minute timer on, still no success. Has anyone tried this feature and was able to get message reminder?

if you go to message alerts you need to turn on the 2 min alert. your welcome

Thanks. I do have the 2 minute alert turned on and the voice mail alert set to vibrate and sound.

I finally got mine working also. You can use any rings style for the alert. The key thing si to turn the 2 minute timer on. You will get a reminder (single ring) every 2 minutes until you open the phone and you hit end or listen to the message.

Hi,

I tried everything above...I came to teh point, where i set the 2 min option to on.

Now when I get a message or vm, I get the initial alert, but every 2 min after that, all the phone does is light up....there are no beeps or anything....

and the display says "voicemail"

Any way I can turn on the beep whenevr the remidner comes up every 2 min?

yeahhh i get problems too... when i set my phone to vibrate, it only beeps every 2 minutes.

is there a way to alert myself when i get a missed call? those are important too... i tried "page" but that doesn't work..

Yeah I have the same problem. It just lights up every 2 minutes. I'm also curious to see if there is an alert for a missed call.
