Default How do ya pick your first cell phone?

I have been painfully learning about cell phones in anticipation of my first purchase. I am leaning toward the LG 6000 through Verizon Wireless - the new model that just came out this week. Since it's so new, there's no track record, right? So am I foolish to buy it? Help!

no i wouldnt say you are foolish to buy it. all reports (including my own) indicate that it is a solid phone.

you have to ask yourself if you need analog though. if you travel outside of major cities you probably will use it at some point. look on the verizon map. the vx6000 does not have analog, so if you need it you might want to consider something else.

right if your in a fringe area the vx4400 may suite your needs better as it retains analog function. However verizon has most places covered pretty well compared to other carriers on a whole.
