I just picked up a new LG VX-2000 for a second line on my Verizon account. I was wondering what those who have one think of it? It seems to have quite a bit going for it for a lower end phone. How is the RF performance? Talk times? The manual, while thick, lacks any information about talk/standby times with both the standard and extended batteries. The LG website is devoid of this info as well. I see there are TWO data cables available, on serial and one USB. Anyone using one for HSPD data and how well does it work? seems like alot of phone (speakerphone, high speed data capable, voice dialing, etc) for a low price (vzw gave it to me for free for doing a 2yr with them on the 2nd line.).

I got 15 days to play with it then it is for keeps. Was looking at the V120 but it was 50 bucks versus free. Have had good luck with Motorola though. thoughts?

Ok, I set up a vx 2000 foir a friend and used it for 2 days before being able to give it to her. Reception is on par with a vx -10 or vx4400, ie, very good. Battery time is probably 3 hours talk considering it took me way too long to darin the batery twicxe befgore giving it to her. Speaker phone made me wish i had one real bad.

Any further questions?
