Hello, I would just like to know what the auto volume feature does on the VX4400 and does it make a significant difference when using it? By the way I have version 6. Thank you in advance.

The auto volume feature automatically adjusts the phone's volume depending on the surrounding environment you are in. If you are on a busy street then the phone raises the volume or if you are in a quiet spot then it will adjust it lower. So basically there is no need for you to have to manually adjust the volume. I use this feature and I must say I was impressed on how well it has worked. There has only been a couple times where I was at a very noisy place where it didn't adjust the volume high enough so I manually did it. But all in all it works great.
