That show explain how to convert a mp3 file to a .qcp file. I was told that you should rename the .qcp file to .mid file however in my experience, it produces the same result. The sound does not come out of the external speaker but rather from the earpiece.

Until someone finds a fix for this, .qcp files are useless for the LG VX4400 b/c they are too soft to hear.

do the midi files come from the earpeice as well? I find my downloaded midi ringers to be quite soft compared to the default ringers?

I think it depends upon the MIDI file, some of the ones I loaded, such as "Something I can never have", are quiet, but then again, that song isn't the loudest song in the world. Others, like "Sledgehammer" and "The Weather is Here, I wish You Were Beautiful" are VERY loud.
