    Default Verizon Deal?

Thanks for all of your responces.

I just got back from Verizonicon and I think I decided on the LG4400. They now have a deal where the LG4400 is $199.99 with a 2 year contract and you can get $100.00 back when you ship them your old phone, making the final price $99.99. Is this worth it? Can I send them an old Audiovox phone I have and sell the LG510 I currently have on ebay, will they know what phone I currently have? Do you think the LG4400 will go on sale next week (April)?

    Thanks again

    Derek

They couldn't care less what phone you have (in fact, when I was in there (exchanging the v60i I originally got for the 4400) some lady came in saying that the VZ store said they would give her an old phone to send in for the rebate (she had service before, but she was keeping her old service, plus adding new service - I don't know if it was the same provider or not))

I sent in a crappy 4 year old Nokia candybar style phone (which I have always hated)

    Default Verizon Deal?

I just got a VX10 from Verizonicon. They tried to sell me on the VX440. Didn't really care for it so i opted for the VX10. But they told me they would give me a phone to send in and get the rebate.

The only requirement is the phone you send them must be in working order. They state that very clearly on the documentation. They phone is great and I love it. I had a Motorola 270C which was an OK phone (batteryicon weirded out after 9 months though) but not my style. I like the flip much more than the candybar style.
