Default Drivers for the LG5250

Howdy,

When I connect my 5250 windows XP lists it under the USB controllers as an unknown device. I know my USB cable is working because when I plug in my other phone it recognizes it. I installed the Sprint connection manager but it doesn't seem to install the correct drivers. Can anyone tell me where to get the drivers for the 5250 in XP?

Thanks!

It depends on the type of the USB cable you have. Search for LG5350,LGVX10/VX1/VX4400.The usb driver for these models will work with 5250 mo.del phone. Try futuredial or datapilot website. Also, there are some USB drivers for LG phones under GAGIN discustions

Alex thanks for your response.

I used the snapsync USB driver install with no luck. I can however get Windows XP to recognize a 5350 connected using the same cable. I tried forcing new drivers using update drivers and the /drivers/winxp directory with no luck. Whenever I try to replace the Unknown device with anything else, it tells me the specified location does not contain information about your hardware. This includes when I unclick show compatible hardware during a custom hardware select. I've tried removing the unknown device but it comes back whenever I plug in the phone.

I couldn't find any gagin/lg5250 info - that doesn't mean it isn't there, I just couldn't find it.

If someone has the original Snapsync CD, it should have the drivers under \Drivers\Driversxp.

Thank you
