3Gtopia.com now let you upload your MP3 files and convert them to ringtones. It's still in Beta Test. I tried it with my LG LX5350 and it works.

If you don't see the MP3 Ringtone link at first, then select a regular ringtone, then enter your Sprint PCS info. The next time you go to the ringtones page you should see the MP3 ringtone link. The direct URL to the MP3 page is http://3gtopia.com/mp3up/form_upload.asp

Man, i want that program that 3Gtopia uses. That would be awesome if i could convert my mp3 to midi files. If only they supported the 4400....
