Default Voice Commands on 4400

The 4400 has two commands that you can train. Yes and No.
There is no mention of where to use these?
Why could the software not also include some good commands like dial and hang-up?

This could be a solution to the hands free pick up and hang up issue.

Default Voice Commands on 4400

You have discovered the LG manual is as lame as it get's! Another thread indicates that it is a software issue which LG may not correct (in the near future at least). However, it seems that a small software correction could, as you suggest, enable true handsfree use.

With these small clitches, it is still a great phone in my book.

The yes and no commands are used when you use the voice dial commands. If you say a name and the phone is not sure (it finds more than one match). It will say "Did you say John's cell phone?" then you respond yes or no. If you respond no, it will go to the next match, "Did you say Ron's cell phone"?. If you respond yes, it will dial the number.

I can't even find the voice command (or can't get it to work) given the manual. Can you give a brief tutorial on how to use the voice commands? I've put a few names and numbers in but can't figure out how to envoke them.

Thanks.

the 4400 does not support speaker phone right now, maybe a software upgrade may change that in the future, who knows. I believe the only way to hear the caller through the external speaker is to use the answering machine and set it to auto answer.
