I finally got to use that cable i bought i while ago from radioshack to make my 5350 work as my modem for my computer, my question is, when i use it, does it use up my minutes??? the only reason i ask is because the counter comes up on the screen when it connects, just like when im making a phone call, and i know that the thing has to "dial" #777 to connect so i just want to know if im using minutes or if it counts as using "vision" wich is unlimited??? p.s: im not using any dialing software, all i did was create a new connection on my computer (windows xp pro) using my pcs 3g phone as the modem, my vision username and my vision password. Thanx for the help!!! |

It should only show up as Vision. Keep in mind the T&C of your agreement for 'Unlimited Vision' excludes the use of the phone as a modem with a PC, laptop or other device. Use at your own risk. It seems Sprint right now has a bit of a time enforcing this provision, but if you start using it with heavy or constant usage, they may track you down. |
