Default answer/disconnect button on a headset

Ive had the VX4400 about a week now and love it. The only problem I am having is that I have bought three different headsets and the answer/disconnect button on the headset wont work. Does anyone know of one that will work with this phone? Default answer/disconnect button on a headset

Yeah I have the same problem. The thing that made me switch from the TM510 to the VX4400 was the voicedial button on the outside of the phone. Now I can't even hang up or answer incoming calls from my handsfree?

I tried several different ones including the Jabra Bluetooth one. I even wrote LG but haven't heard anything yet.

Any ideas how to hang up or answer incoming calls with a handsfree? I'm still within my 15 day and if there is no solution, I'm taking it back.

So far Verizon has recommended to set the phone into auto-answer mode. That way after 1 or 3 rings it will automatically answer the call (kind of weak!).

However, does anyone know if the phone plug on the 4400 is 3 contact or 4 contact type. Most headset that I have seen that offer call answer / termination buttons are the 4 contact type.
Also, I found in chap 5 of the user guide, LG references a 'Model headset 1000' that offers the call answer / termination button.

I did find the headset 1000 at this link. Looks like the same send/end buttom problem on a lot of the vx phones.
