4400 gps location based service when,how,if????

will there be a gps location based service for the vx4400, I sure could use cordinates, does anybody know anything about this one??????

My understanding, the GPS is for the E911 only.

It provide failover capabilities, ensuring that if a server or server cluster goes down, the network will continue to identify the location of cell phone users. The result: the time required to pinpoint the location of any caller on the network is reduced by hundreds of milliseconds.
It also requires carriers to provide Public Safety Answering Points with the telephone number of the originator of a 911 call and the location of the cell site or base station receiving a 911 call.
I think the possible way to locate cell phone users. In the network-based system, a distress call from a wireless phone triggers modules at the three or more nearby cellular antennas. Each module records the time the callerâ??s signal reached the antenna, and the location of the caller is determined by â??triangulatingâ?� the callerâ??s distance from the receivers.
I am sure it will be more once this service become fully available.
