5350 as a modem without using vision?

im was planning on using my 5350 as a modem for my computer but found out through this forum that it costs .02 per k. i found a free dial up isp and wondered if i can hook my computer to my phone and dial out through the phone to the isp. does anyone know if this is possible or how it would be possible? or if its possible to get a vision plan with unlimited internet acces?

It is possible to get unlimited internet access for use with a PC... at the cost of $99/mo.
Unlimited Vision plans are for use with the phone's browser only; although if you read the threads
you will see that it can be used with the pc as well; but if you are planning to use a lot of
bandwidth, Sprint might disconnect your vision service as it violates their T&Cs of the 'unlimited vision' plan.
Right now, I believe that Sprint is having a hard time tracking actual usage by user. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

If you want to use the phone as a modem, you can by connecting with the right cable and drivers.
(read the other threads regarding data cable). You could then connect to a different ISP and use the phone in 'data in' mode.
