I picked up the 4400 today based on reccomendations and the fact that my Startac bit the dust. I paid $199.00 and picked up the extended battery off ebay for $50.00. I've noticed that my message waiting and my text message alerts aren't functioning. To set these up it seems like I would check under Messages\Info Alerts\?????. Then I get an error reading "This Service Isn't Available at This Time"! WTF? Are you guys having the same problem?? Is there a Software upgrade?

hey hawks the 4400 only alerts you when it first comes in, then it will only have a message on the screen until you clear it. the alert setting is under the messages.......i toyed with the alerts and the only mode that has a reminder is the vibra mode....hope this helps.....

If you are on virate mode, the phone will vibrate every so often.
