Default New LX 5350 User with a question about editing ringtones and other questions

(How do you delete a msg? Seriously, if a mod is reading this you can delelte it..where is the delete choice?)

Hello, when I say "new user" I mean i plan on buying one within the next 3 days. Anyway, what i am wondering is this.

I need a program that will let me convert midi's to WAV's so I can edit them and then convert them back to midi's so I can upload them. So far I have tried around 8 demo versions of midi apps that claim they would do this but either its impossible to figure out or the converted file sounds terrible.

So if anyone knows of a good combination of programs or just one that will do it all, please let me know, thanks
Or you know what, why not just a program that will let you edit the MIDI, so you dont have to convert..that would be better..

I am really looking forward to this phone. I have read several pages of posts on this forum and have done a huge amount of research. However I also read that there is already a 5350 replacement coming. Fact is, my local Best Buy no longer carries the 5350 and I will have to order it from Amazon.com. Not a problem, but thats too bad.

Thanks

AnvilStudio.com has a free MIDI editor. A MIDI file is like sheet music, telling the phone which notes to play, and what instruments to mimic. Consequently, the instrument waveform table in the phone will differ from your PC (especially if you have a high-end sound card), and so songs will sound different on the phone. What might be unacceptable on a PC may make an acceptable ringer on the LG.
