Where do I get the memory card for my phone?
Do i have to get the firmware upgraded at a Verizon store or can I do it from the phone?
Can I store songs on the Memory card in mp3 format??
And what ever advice you can give me about this phone. Thanks Chris

Welcome to WA!

Ok,
For the Mini SD, check any Best Buy, Circit City, ect. Also eBay has some for cheap.

If you don't have Version 04 yet, you will need to take it into a Verizon store at it will take anywhere from 30 - 60 min.'s to updade.

(To check type in #4357*4357 then scroll down to SW Version and:
T81VZV01 = Version 1, you need to take it in to Verizon
T81VZV04 = You're good, get a Mini SD card and go!)

If you have Version 04, you can just upload them as mp3 and they will work.

The 8100 is a good phone overall, I'm sure you will love it!

ok, i check my version and sure enough its ver4. Is there anyprogram i need to up load them? How big are the mermory cards?
Alsowhere do I get the cable? Ebay i assume?

Since you have Version 04, your phone is mp3 enabled. The Mini SD cards go up to 1 Gig I believe? You can get a 1 Gig on eBay for around $80. I don't see why you would still want a cord, but you can find ton's of them on eBay.

Ok i got the mini card, But how do i get songs on it. I got a cable form the guy off ebay and it came with a cd full of wallpapers and games and such, But how do i get this stuff on the phone???

not to sound stupid here but how do u check to see what version u have?

To check what version you have, go to settings or something like that. There should be something like phone info or something similar and if you scroll down you should see the Software Version.

Gutlass, you need a miniSD card drive for your computer to upload songs on it. They are relatively cheap, and are made for both Desktop computers as well as Notebooks. To upload the things via cable, read the instructions.
