Hi. My husband has his wireless service with Alltel. He is in need of a new phone and is looking into getting the Kyocera SoHo. He only uses his phone for voice calls and text messages. Can someone let us know if it has good reception, is easy to navigate and in general if it is a good phone? Also, if the ringers are loud enough? Thanks for any help. |

About the only "cons" I can think of are (a) alarm works only if the phone is turned on, and (b) phone book holds only 200 entries, although each entry can have up to 5 numbers. I strongly recommend the Soho. -way | |

I've played around with the SoHo and, although I think it's ugly, it's not a bad little phone. It's shape is a bit odd and it's antenna is sort of cadawompus but other than that, a fairly solid clamshell handset.

Your right. It's not the best looking phone I've ever seen either, but then again you don't have much choice when it comes to Alltel. IMO, most of their phones lack seriously in the looks department. I appreciate your view that it is a solid phone. Thanks |

Go to www.phonescoop.com and type in Kyocera Soho. I had planned to get this phone if I would've stayed w/ eloqui, but we all know what happened there!
