I can't set my phone to do lights only silent mode. I can set it manualy to lights only, but via silent mode shortcut I can only have vibrate. Other issues: -No tone selection for alarm -No silent mode when plugged into charger -Cannot go to last idea in menu list by clicking up on first item. (only works on main menu) -Can only program one shortcut (up arrow, LAME!!!) Please post any helpful info. tia |

Ya gotta love the Slider's software. I love when my phone was freezing up and turning off to the point where I had to remove the battery for 5 minutes and put it back in. And sometimes when I call out, I received this really loud echo that was terrible instead of the call going through. Overall I just said screw it, now I am using the Samsung A670 and I love it, though the lack of Mobile Web 2.0 and Video messiging are my only complaints.

The thing that annoys me is that the software is so slow, especially for text messaging. The eZi mode is so slow as to render it almost useless- it can't keep up with the speed that you type. Also, after certain words it won't allow you to type certain punctuations- for example, it might think that you want to type "don't" when you really want to type "don." and it won't let you type anything but an apostrophe after the n. The menus are really slow too, as is the response time after certain button pushes (redialing by hitting the talk button three times takes way longer than it should). Hopefully they'll be able to fix these problems in software upgrades, otherwise the only reason to get this phone is for the cool factor. It makes one think that they focused too much on the aesthetic design features and not on the functionality.
