Samsung i500 to beat the 7135?

That may happen, at least in Sprint stores. This company apparently does online product simluations and manuals, and they have done one for the Sanyo 5300 and the Samsung i500, but there is no mention of the 7135:

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it looks like Sprint might not pick up the 7135 at all.

I do some work occasionally at Sprint (the long distance company), and my employer throws an annual forum for it's clients to try and sell them more services and software. This year, our forum coincided with a cellular trade show. I was dying to get in but couldn't. The guys from Sprint pulled out WHQ ID badges, and bulled thier way into the exhibit hall. It's all attitude, I guess.

They came out with the news that the 7135 will probably be available for Verizon only, and no reason was given.

I later chatted up the Sprint PCS sales rep at the nearest Best Buy, and casually dropped that rumor. She froze -- deer-in-the-headlights look and all.

I said, "Its true, isn't it?"

"I could lose my job if I say anything about that phone until an official announcement is made."

In retrospect, that comment could go either way. Cross your fingers.

didn't Sprint offically release this phone? I saw it at Best Buy, well they didn't have the actual demo phone out, or even the dummy one) but they said "we have the new Kyocera pda phone" I want a Sanyo 5300, but this Kyrocera looks like it might really be killer.
