Default Kyocera 2235 Programming security code.

My service is in Fremont, California. My provider is Verizon. I have used 685181 and 587846 but my phone just restarts on me instead of going into another menu. Can someone please tell me why it is doing this or give me the right code? Thanks.

In my area, VZW 2235's are programmed with 000000 as the security code... That's the default straight from Kyocera, so unless the store bothered to change it, that's what it should be...

he stated that he tried 685181 and 587846 but not 000000... I suggested he tried that, as MY experience with Verizon in MY area states that VZW has not changed the security codes from the defaults. Kyocera tech support even stated that the DEFAULT security codes are all 0's for both programming and debug. If the provider chooses to change those, it's up to them; they're more than welcome to do it. I've heard VZW does oftentimes change the programming codes on prepay phones, probably to keep people from re-using them on another network at a later date and just using Prepay to get a phone for less than retail price.

I have gotten two phones from Verizon. One came with a code and one didn't(0's). If it isn't 0's let me know and I might be able to figure it out if I had the ESN.
