Silent mode & Smart Sound

Hey guys/gals. I realize that to put the SE47 into vibrate, you can just hold down the # key, but is there any quick way to silence the phone ("lights only") without going through the settings menu?

Also, I was wondering how many of you use the Smart Sound function. Is it worth enabling, or does it under/overestimate the surrounding sound levels to make the earpiece volume too soft/loud? Thanks!

To answer my first Q, the only way I've found to silence the ringtone was to customize the shortcut key to "Ringer Volume". You still have to press a few keys to silence the phone, but it's still easier than having to go through the menu.

I thought holding down the arrow right key toggled between vibrate and sounds.......
