Default Goodbye Slider :(

Well since work is going to be paying for my Sprint service, i'm going to be using my Verizon phones a little less, which means returning the Sly, but that's ok 'cause now i got my Sanyo VM 4500 to takes it's place.

Tony E,

sorry to see the slider go...my wife and I upgraded early c/s let her upgrade her secondary line as well as my primary
and she loves the slider- I kept debating, but went with the 4500...a co-worker hates locking keys and hates a flip phone so i showed her the slider and she bought it on the spot..thanks to the slider
a new converted customer and 25.00 in my pocket

BTW, the LG 4500 is a good choice, love that speakerphone feature on it.

i meant 25 for the referral program- i can't even get near the slider unless my wife is in the shower..
she likes the phone that much...now she understands why i spend so much time playin with the 4500...she is the same way with the slider

I'm sorry you have to return your Slider. At least your VZW store will have one more woking demo model for others to enjoy.

I don't know how to get the numbers. I do get a good signal although the sound gets watery in loud places. I just realized smart sound was disabled. I'll have to see if enabling it makes the watery sound goes away.

Press the "1" key six times. Go to the DEBUG menu. When it asks you to enter your field debug code, enter six zero's. Go to "DEBUG SCREEN." Turn it on. Press "next" twice. You can then see your RX/TX meters. At home mine says: Rx: -58 Tx -60 while I'm typing this to you.

Rx: -80 Tx: -63

I'm in a concrete and steel building right now that faces an enclosed courtyard. I'll try it outside tomorrow when I go to work. If I go out now I'll miss "The Screen Savers" on TechTV (I'm such a geek).

Are there any safe tweaks in that mode?

Thanks
