I have a QCP2035 that I bought at a yardsale, phone was setup on Altell and I was able to program it for Verizon being as they are both on a 800Mhz CDMA network. Everything on the phone works, calling, caller ID, except for the text messaging and the "Digital Roaming" on the main screen. For whatever reason it thinks it is roaming off of the Altell Network I assume. Is there anyway to correct this, preferably without having to go to the Verizon store and have them tell me "Sorry we can't help you but we'll be happy to sell you a newer, much nicer, and more expensive phone". I like the phone, not a bunch of bells and whistles that I dont need, and it has awesome signal where other phones I've had lacked. Any help would be appreciated. Feel free to email me with any suggestions. c_simmont@yahoo.com |
