DOH....I am out of town this week, but there is a Verizon store not far. I may give them a call later just to see if they have it.

My local store here in Los Angeles opens @ 9am. Are you sure they dont open till 10am? I'm going to call them in 45min to see if they have it.
Or is it 10am because its in a mall?

If I remember correctly, there was a lag between the release date and the 4500 showing up on their website.

When I talked to Verizon the other day they comfirmed that the Slider was coming out today, so I'm sure they are there. Anyone further than the west coast get it yet?

I'm right here by the Beverly Center, La Cienega and 3rd st, and from what i recall they open at 10:00 am.

I called around yesterday and yes they do have them but was told they don't know when they'll start selling them.

The Verizon store in Brownsville, Texas just told me that the Slider was released and that they will sell them today. Retail price is $249.99..
