I'm also curious to see first impressions on the phone.

Just came back from lunch and read a review on the Slider in Laptop magazine. Though it was the Virgin Mobile model, I hope that they made improvements. Pro's were: clear speakerphone, handy apps (stopwatch, datebook, alarm). Con's: mediocre voice quality, and strange button layout.

Well, no dice for me. The only way for me to get one is to pay the full retail of $250.00. So I will be waiting another year when the next best thing should come along. Wish I could have reviewed it for you guys :-(

I will, i just got reply from MS. Raney a Verizon executive representative, she's following up on why they are not being sold at the stores yet, though like you said, the Glendale Galleria store is selling them now.

I stopped by a Verizon store on my way back to the hotel, Gastonia NC, they had them. The friggin' nim rods had the thing tierapped down so you had to struggle to open it. And that was a working model!!! That thing will be broken in a week.

Anyway, the phone is tits no doubt. The speaker sounded very clear...the buttons up near the top, like for the speaker phone was a bit hard to push...but not a biggie.

I think if there were any major problems with they phone they would have surfaced by now, how long have the other carriers had the phone? VM, Metro, USC.
