I've never owned a kyocera before, i never like their phones 'til i saw the Slider, what kind of RF do this puppies have, how well do they perform in fringe signal areas? all this excitment with the Slider and i never bother to research on Kyocera's phone's performance, i know about their exploding phones, but i want to know how well they perform as described above.Any feedback is appreciatted.

So Tony, you getting one tomorrow? 3/9? Call around if you are, I found a store that was selling the 4500 a day before launch day. It was a corporate store not a reseller.

Nah, they always give you the "i never heard of it" line, i think they really mean it too, the day the 4500 came out the rep told me we don't have it yet, 'til one of the other guys told him, "it's in the back". I'll never understand why some reps are not up to date with what's new in the Wireless World.
If not i'll just order it on line.

Update: Just called two Verizon stores and yes they do have them, but are not allowed to sell them yet, when i asked when will they be available his replied was "we're not told until the day we are going to start selling them".

Got my car charger all set, just need my holster, they have them at Target for a good price Btw, cheaper than Verizon's $19.99

The kyos tend to be fairly good RF performers. I would say that the recent models have been fairly consistent. They usually aren't the top performers but they aren't bad.

The 2135 had great RF. I used it while my LG 4400 just sat around, around October/November until I got my T730. Kyocera's seem to have good RF, my parents have only dropped ONE call on the 2119b on Sprint in over a year, so that shows some good RF there IMO.
