Default se47 no signal

I just bought a NIB blue slider on Ebay the provider said cricket (not virgin) and when i turn it on i get no signal at all it just says searching for awhile then no service available? is the phone crap or can i do a master reset on it or somethin?

kyocera phones usually are cautious with their signal meter/ strength

Mike, go to an area that you know has a strong signal, if your phone does not work it is the phone. I am assuming that you are using the phone in an area that you have made calls before, if that is the case it is possible that the phone just cannot hold on to a weak signal.

well first of all have you even activated the phone yet?

you haven't told us who your carrier is nor what state your'e in..

the Slider you got is for Cricket, but if your area is service by another carrier it will normaly search for towers it will show no service whatsoever
