twood2800,
You appear to have the Soho from Alltel. If so , the SPC is 000000 (six zeros). I think Verizon also uses six zeros.

000000 is only the one-time default SPC, after it is used to intially program the handset the phone uses a random, unique SPC, which you can usually only get from the carrier. This is their way of "locking" CDMA handsets.

In the NAM1 programming menu you will want to change your MDN (Mobile Directory Number) aka your phone number and your MIN (Mobile Identity Number) which is a second number programmed into your phone in the wake of wireless number portability.

My point was that Alltel handsets are not locked. You can always get in with six zeros.

Alltel handsets don't have SPCs? Cool. I didn't know that. Thanks music4praise.
