Hey all, I broke my SE44 Slider screen and am quite sad about the whole thing, the phone works fine except part of the screen and menus is unreadable. Anyone know if it is possible to replace the top slidy part? Or how hard it is to do this? I saw where there was a website that showed pictures how to do this, but it is no longer in existence (if anyone has the pics that would help also). Anyone want to sell a no longer used SE44 so that mine might live another life? Thanks John jabackmaexec@yahoo.com |

Did you check out howardforums.com you can no longer search if you aren't registered, but one member replaced his entire case. Don't buy a case off of ebay because they don't fit right according to the post

Yes I posted on Howardforums also (well, ok, I cutnpasted pretty much the entire thing :-) yesterday, hoping that someone has an SE44 in a drawer somewhere that will sell to me for parts. That would really make my day, and then I would not have to replace it with a generic phone. As for the cases, yes I saw them on ebay, which means it must not be too hard to take the phone apart. I saw multiple tutorial descriptions so I am not too worried about that. |

she is on her second because the battries on either one last no more then 3 or 4 short phone calls, or it drains overnight
