Hi everyone, I am currently on a family plan with a legacy ATTWS plan. Unfortunately, the master account is based in NC where Cingular was forced to get rid of their bandwidth there, so the accounts got sold to Suncom. Several of the family plan phones cannot be transferred to Suncom because they cannot handle the various exchanges in their system. One feature we really liked from ATTWS was Canada calling (you could dial from/to canada for just 10 bucks extra/mo, comes out of normal minutes)... Is there another GSM carrier that offers a similar service? Cingular's link about it seems to have died (http://www.cingular.com/internationa...ational_canada ) so I was curious if anyone had any suggestions. Thank you! |

Cingular offers world basics ....for 3.99 a month you get a discounted rated to most all countries in the world. Canada is 0.19 per min on this plan. Check cingular.com and look for world basics. |

Unfortunately, I do not wish to pay by the minute, I just want to do what I was doing before, 10$ extra/mo and it comes out of normal minutes. 19c/min could add up for me because I do travel in Canada a lot. | |
