I actually meant to say I use them over WiFi. I use them to make cheap calls from anywhere in the world as long as there is WiFi I can connect to. Nimbuzz and Fring are both similar. You can use one or the other, or both depending on your needs. However, I have both on my E63. Quote:

Yes you will be able to use the standard clients over WiFi, but just be careful of using Three's cellular network for them, they may try to block access for all save their own clients.

To be fair you will probably find free WiFi in quite a few places. Public buildings like art gelleries, museums, libraries etc sometimes have free WiFi and the odd coffee shop too. Sadly many places still charge.

Hi,For your kind info I suggest you Generally three types of cell phone operators are in EUROPE one is EraGSM second one is PlusGSM and the last one is Orange - operating in two ranges, 900 and 1800MHz. what I suggest you buy Poland SIM Card (Orange) will require a SIM-unlocked GSM 900 / 1800 compatible international cell phone Poland SIM Card (Orange) Highlights 5 PLN ($2 USD) starter airtime credit A local cell phone number in Poland FREE incoming calls Voicemail SMS (text messaging) GPRS No yearly contract, monthly charges or credit check A GSM 900/1800 international cell phone is perfect if you only plan on using the cell phone overseas and they start at only $99. Smaller more feature packed world cell phones start at just $179.so choice is yours.......Thanks.... |

Just to clear up any confusion that may result since you will be in the UK; Orange UK uses only the 1800 MHz band for 2G services.
