I recently purchased a used ALLTEL M800 BAG PHONE .from the USA. I tried to have this phone programmed thru Bell buy it appears to be locked and they were unable to program it .
Does anyone have the Alltel codes to unlock this phone?
Will I be able to have this phone programmed for use in Canada?

What did you find out about the motorola m800 ? Were you able to re-program it ? I am looking to purchase one to use on a somewhat remote area in Ontario for our summer cottage and found a reconditioned one on line for $ 179.00.. which is a great deal.. but after looking into it I was told by their tech. that it only works thru Alltel and Alltel doesn't service Ontario.
If I go thru Bell I can purchase one thru them for $ 339.00 if I sign up for the 3 year service program.
I may have to do that.
But, I was curious if you had any luck.
