I am using Airtel and stay in Patna, Bihar. When I move out of the city and am on roaming the location of cell tower is available but in Patna it does not show. Why is it like this? Is there any software which can display the cell tower information? I am using a Nokia 6110 navigator. Thanks and regards.

I will take a guess at and say that it is the Airtel SIM that blocks the information and when you are outside Patna, roaming on a different provider, the information becomes viewable. This is just a guess, if others on Airtel can view the information or you were able to with a different phone, then it would be the settings on the phone itself ofcourse. Hope that helps a little.
