All CDMA phones (Telus and BM are both CDMA operators) have ESNs. The ESN is normally located on the back of the handset under the battery. The problem likely will be that Telus and BM will only allow you to activate a handset that they have either sold or sell now. If they do not have that phone's ESN in their database of allowable phones which they sell or have sold then they may choose not to let you activate on their system with a foreign unit.
