Hey guys,

I went on verizonwireless.com and i looked at the international texting information, and it says to text to Turkey (where i need to text to) do 011 90 (10 digit number) well i did that, and they havent recieved my message, the number my friend gave me already had 90 in it, and the number was 12 digits long including the 90, am i doing something wrong? Am i supposed to put +01190xxxxxxxxxx ??
If someone could help me out id appreciate it! Thanks !

If you're using the +, there is no need for the 011. Its either one or the other. Also, you may want to verify that the carrier your friend is using is one that Verizon has an agreement with. Texting internationally doesn't always work with all carriers.
