Supported by new data plan ideal for consumers and small businesses
TORONTO, Ontario, Nov. 9 /CNW Telbec/ - Bell today announced the availability of the BlackBerry(R) Pearl(TM) 8130 smartphone from Research In Motion (RIM) (Nasdaq: RIMM - News; TSX: RIM - News), offering rich multimedia features together with all the renowned communications and productivity capabilities of the BlackBerry platform.

"The BlackBerry Pearl 8130 delivers the ultimate wireless email and data experience for clients looking for both substance and style," said Adel Bazerghi, Vice President, Products for Bell Mobility. "We are confident its combination of data speed, functionality and style will resonate particularly with consumers and small business professionals looking for a phone that lets them work, play and connect with ease."

The BlackBerry Pearl runs on Bell's high speed mobile network, the fastest and largest available across North America, which is ideal for emailing, mobile browsing and viewing attachments.

"The BlackBerry Pearl 8130 is an exciting and highly anticipated product and we are very pleased to be introducing it to Bell customers across Canada today," said Mark Guibert, Vice President, Corporate Marketing at Research In Motion.
